Celebrate Canada’s rich history, culture, and ecology at the Woodmen’s Museum!
Join us for our Canada Day Celebrations where you’ll have the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits and lean about the important role of forestry in shaping our local and provincial history.
Our Canada Day Celebration includes for and engaging activities for visitors of all ages.
Try historic tools in action and try your hand at woodworking while learning about traditional crafts and trade.
Enjoy delicious food from the Shake, Batter, and Roll food truck.
Connect with family, friends, and community members, including museum staff, while leaning about Canada’s unique and fascinating history.

Participate in a scavenger hunt while you explore the museum’s exhibits and learn interesting facts about our local heritage.
Channel your inner lumberjack and try your hand at axe throwing, an exhilarating experience you won’t forget!
Participate in our Nature NB Workshops!
Join Nature NB for a fun and educational Canada celebration at our special event workshops for kids aged 4-17!
Our Plants and Trees Workshop from 12pm-1pm will teach kids about the different parts of plants and trees, why they're important, and how to identify common species.
Our Tracks, Scat, and Skill Workshop from 1pm-2pm will turn kids into detectives as they learn about mammals in New Brunswick and find clues animals leave behind. We'll even take a walk around to look for real tracks, scat, and other clues.
This is a unique opportunity for kids to learn about the natural world around them and have fun in the process.
These events require pre-registration, register for one or both!
